Rangers FC

A Friendly Health Reminder

Dear Rangers families,

As the public concern grows over the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to assure you the well-being of our players, coaches and their families is our top priority. We also want to provide you with an update on some of the ways we can work together to keep everyone safe.
1. If anyone has travelled to China, Iran, Italy, Japan and South Korea, please stay at home for 14 days after your return.  This list is based on CDC recommendations and will likely increase in number of countries as time goes on.
2. If you or your child is sick, especially if experiencing flu-like symptoms such as fever, chills, body aches, cough, runny or stuffy nose, sore throat, etc., please stay at home and do not come to practices or games.  Even though these symptoms are overwhelmingly not due to Coronavirus and more likely due to the common cold or influenza, it is best for the health and safety of everyone to stay at home.

As for prevention, it is recommended:
1. That everyone wash their hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water and if not available, then use hand sanitizers with at least 60% alcohol content.
2. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.
3. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue and dispose of the tissue immediately
4. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
5. Similar to recommendations from professional leagues, players are encouraged to avoid hand-shakes and high-fives and consider other gestures such as fist bumps for example.

Together we can keep our Rangers Family safe during this public health emergency
