Former Clubs include Stevenage FC and Cambridge United.
10th season as Academy Head of Coaching.
I began coaching at 15 years old as a grass roots volunteer. Initially volunteering before taking up coaching roles at Stevenage FC including Foundation Phase Coach (U8-U12) and Youth Development Phase Coach (U13-U16) and then moved to Cambridge to coach the Youth Team (PDP). I rejoined Stevenage as Head of Coaching in 2015 and later joined MK Dons where I have been Head of Coaching since 2019.
I have two son’s who both play football for grassroots sides and coach both of their sides in my spare time. My boyhood club is Tottenham Hotspur, and my favourite players are Paul Gascoigne, Ronaldo and Roy Keane. I believe personal and professional development never stops, enjoy creating deep thought and reflection through my delivery and promote teamwork and openness in the workplace.
Marc Collier
Hi all, my name is Marc Collier and I have recently rejoined MK Dons as the Youth Development Phase Lead Coach.
I originally began working for the club in 2002 as a part-time coach within the Community Scheme, delivering coaching sessions to grass roots clubs and evening centres in and around Milton Keynes and Bedfordshire. This led to a full-time role in 2004 as the Assistant Community Officer, overseeing the schools programme, evening centres and holiday courses. As well as working within the community scheme, I also gained experience working with Foundation Phase and Youth Development Phase age groups within the academy as a part time coach.
I eventually left the club in 2012 to join Vandyke Upper School as a Cover Supervisor, and although I was based within the PE Department, I would cover any and every lesson throughout my nine years of working there as well as acting as a Tutor. On top of my full time role, I continued to work and gain experience within academy football as a part time coach, working predominantly within the Youth Development Phase at Luton Town, Stevenage and Northampton Town.
In 2017 I had the opportunity to represent Northampton Town, along with another member of staff, on a club visit to China. Spending two weeks visiting football clubs, coaching and meeting various people involved in developing the sport.
I eventually gained a full time opportunity in 2021 at Northampton Town, being offered the role as Lead Youth Development Phase Coach, overseeing the U13-U16 age groups.
Jon Dewick
I am currently the Education lead within the Academy whilst working across the foundation phase, working with the 8s and 11s. I have worked collectively across the football club since the club came to the City in 2002!
I started with the Community Trust as a Community Coach where my main role was delivering within schools and clubs around the Milton Keynes area. I continued this role until 2012 where I moved to Watford FC Academy working with the under 9s and working as a PE teacher within a local school. I left to work within the USA for a club in West Chester, Pennsylvania until late 2013.
In 2014, I moved home to the UK and moved to Fulham FC, again as a Community Coach working within schools. I left Fulham in 2016 returning to the USA, coaching within a high school and working with a company that delivered summer coaching to a local club.
In 2017, I returned to the football club, working in both boys and girl’s academy teams. I started full time again as the Head of women and girls from September 2019 until February 2025. I wasn’t away for long, returning to the Academy in March 2025 supporting across age groups within the various phases.
A bit about myself, I am big sports fan and in particular watching the NFL on Sundays, following the Eagles!

Having graduated with an Undergraduate Degree in Sports Science & Coaching in 2019 from the University of Bedfordshire, I started my journey with MK Dons as a Volunteer in the Analysis Department. As I gained experience in this role, I then graduated from the University of Worcester with a Masters Degree in Performance Analysis in 2020. At this time, I started my role as Lead Academy Analyst at MK Dons. At the end of 2020, I started a new role with FIFA as Football Analyst where I was a part of the founding group which collected and analysed data on the FIFA Mens and Women’s World Cups in Qatar and Australia. As part of this role, I was able to analyse the World’s best players across both games and work alongside some of the best Analysts in the industry. After 5 years in the role at FIFA, I then took up the role of Head of Academy Analysis at MK Dons where I lead the Analysis Programme for U9-U21s. I am very fortunate to work with and oversee a team of 5 Analysts who dedicate their time and effort to help deliver an excellent programme who aid the development of not only the players but also the Coaches and wider staff through Analysis.
